
As the support team sits and poses for a photo in the cafeteria with the counseling team they eagerly wait to start their day. "We [all] seem to be a team, I get up every day and there's days where I don't want to go to work today, but I'm thankful that I have a job and I'm blessed to have what I have," Christopherson said. Scattered throughout the school, each person is entitled to a specific job that improves the physical and mental well-being of students and makes high school careers run as smoothly as possible. Though students may never have talked to them, they always welcome anyone with open arms, whether issues are personal or school-related. Introducing the Student Support Staff.
With a total of five members, the Student Support Staff works with each and every student to help them with whatever they are struggling with including problems with Home Access Center, anything to do with grades or any mental health issues. The Student Support Staff includes Julie Weltens as the Counseling Office Administrative Assistant, Cyndee Burkett as the Registrar, Alice Christopherson as Registrar and PEIMS Specialist, Marsha Small as the 504 and Testing Coordinator and Haylee Kimble as the Therapist and social worker.
