Basketball can be hectic sometimes, one example is superstar Lebron James and the Cavalier organization trading Kyrie Irving six months ago. Likewise, the NBA Playoffs could be even crazier. With rookies that have rejuvenated their team to vintage veterans taking over the league game by game, this years playoffs will be one not to miss.

So let’s go through all of the games and predictions on who will win it all:

Eastern Conference

(1) Toronto Raptors vs. (8) Washington Wizards

Overall, the Raptors are one of the best teams in the league. Point Guard DeMar DeRozan and Head Coach Dwayne Casey, have ended the playoff drought of Toronto beginning in 2003. On the other hand, the Washington Wizards are hungry for a championship. Even without their star, Point Guard John Wall, the Wizards can still have success. My prediction is that the Raptors win in six games.

(2) Boston Celtics vs. (7) Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks cannot compete with Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum because the Celtics have great shooting and are just too dominant. But the person that the Boston Celtics don’t have is that “Greek Freak,” Giannis Antetokounmpo. He changes the game over and over again for the Bucks. Boston has the advantage in every category possible. Coaching, check. Speed, check. Free-throw shooting, check. My prediction- Boston win in five games.

(3) Philadelphia 76ers vs. (6) Miami Heat

Have you ever heard the theory that Shooting Guard Dwayne Wade cannot be the best player on the team and win a championship? Well, the myth is true. If Hassan Whiteside is the only big man in the starting lineup, they will not beat this 76er team. The 76ers have all the confidence in the world as “rookie” Ben Simmons and Center Joel Emiid lead this team in the playoffs. My prediction- Philadelphia win in six games.

(4) Cleveland Cavaliers vs. (5) Indiana Pacers

2012, Eastern Conference Semifinals. Small Forward Lance Stephenson blows into Lebron James’ ear. Since then, these two have had a great rivalry. Six years later, Cleveland is bigger and faster than ever. With the addition of Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr., the NBA has never seen a more athletic Cleveland team. But don’t ever count out this scrappy Pacer team even with the predicted Most Improved Player, Victor Oladipo. This series will be a thriller, but Lebron James is to much for any team. My prediction- Cleveland win in six games.

Western Conference

(1) Houston Rockets vs. (8) Minnesota Timberwolves

On April 11th, the Timberwolves barely made the playoffs with an epic overtime win over the Denver Nuggets. This may be the motivation that this small team deserves to be here. Who’s next for them? Oh yeah, the Houston Rockets. Could Point Guard for the Rockets, James Harden, go off for 50 points, or could he even shoot for another triple double? With all of these questions asked, you have to feel bad for Minnesota. My prediction- Houston win in four games.

(2) Golden State Warriors vs. (7) San Antonio Spurs

Is there anybody that can beat this All-Star filled team of the Warriors? Without Guard Steph Curry, anything can happen in this series. But as time goes down, the legends of the Spurs, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker, cannot keep up with this electric high flying Warrior team. Whoever Golden State is playing, it is a complete nightmare for the opposing team. My prediction- Golden State win in four games.

(3) Portland Trailblazers vs. (6) New Orleans Pelicans

This may be the most intriguing match up of the playoffs. Portland Guard Damian Lillard verses New Orleans Power Forward Anthony Davis. Who will shine the brightest? This series will revolve around that match up every game. The only advantage the Trailblazers have on the Pelicans is shooting. I do not trust the Pelicans with the ball in the last seconds to win a game. My predictions- Pelicans win in seven games.

(4) Oklahoma City Thunder vs. (5) Utah Jazz

When Guard Russell Westbrook traded for superstars Carmelo Anthony and Paul George, most people thought that the Oklahoma City Thunder were automatically going to the Finals. Five months later, the Thunder find themselves in the fourth spot in the playoffs. But in this playoff matchup the blocks and rebounds for electrifying Center Rudy Gobert for the Utah Jazz will just keep rolling through as the Jazz will give Oklahoma City headaches every game in this series. My prediction Thunder win in seven games.
