What was something that you learned during the year?

I learned that not everyone is going to like you for who you are, and you have to be okay with that and move on. [You can’t] let anyone hold you [back] because they don’t like you.

What were some of your worst moments this year?

My worst moment was finding out that our band didn’t make finals at our last competition of the year. It was really heartbreaking because we worked so hard and for so long on our show, and it really became a part of us.

What mistakes did you make and how did you solve them?

I made a few mistakes and I apologized, but that could never make up for my actions. Once something is done, you can’t undo it. This isn’t a document that you [can] edit, this is real life.

What will you remember from this year?

I will definitely remember all the time that I have spent making new friends and learning new things every day.

What do you want from 2019?

I want 2019 to be a good year, I want to have fun and experience life before I become an adult.
