John Pinion, Reporter

John is a junior and first-year reporter. In addition to being a staff member for The Wolfpack, he is a returning member of the Tracks Yearbook and a member of the Timberwolf Marching Band. He enjoys getting to write about others, being able to share their passions and achievements with others. Outside of school he likes to hang out with friends, take pictures and watch drum corps shows. His favorite dinosaur is an ankylosaurus because it has cool spikes.

Dimatteo has been a band director for eight years, now leading the symphonic and concert bands. “I only really wanted to be a lawyer for the money but band I actually enjoy,” Dimatteo said. “I think that music is really important for people, especially kids from 5 to 18. I think it's a super developmental part of their lives, and I think it brings a lot not only to them but their community.” Photo courtesy of Cedar Park High School Band Booster Club
