From practicing in the choir room, to singing the National Anthem on Friday nights before football games, the Choir program has been working hard to get ready to compete at the TMEA Region 32 auditions this year.

“We feel like this is year is the best chemistry we have had,” sophomore Devon Cannon said. “Pre-area is going to be extremely exciting.”

To add on to the story, this year set a new mark of more students making the region choir than any other school. Senior choir participant, Daniel Williamson, is one of the 13 students who will advance to the pre-area auditions at the end of November.

“This is a really unique event for all of us,” Williamson said. “It’s awesome to be a part of.”
