Matthew McConaughey was there too. [The lead singer] started off the show on a platform right below the roof and he jumped off that platform and I thought that was so cool. He and his father have worked on cars together for all of Trebilco’s life, and have several finished projects because of it. “[My favorite memory with my car is] honestly just cruising with my dad in his truck and my car,” Trebilco said. “Both of the [cars] are restored. Cedar Park’s chapter of the National Honor Society prides itself as a presence on campus, focusing on service work and community involvement. Their full schedule for the first semester includes events from community service to member induction.
NHS runs a lunch buddy program where members eat lunch and socialize with students in ICAP. In partnership with Destination Imagination, NHS contributed to a book drive for Dell Children’s Hospital. Along with many other clubs, NHS participated in Trunk-or-Treat for the children of the community.
Prospective members are turning in their application forms this week to club sponsors Ms. Bramlett and Mr. Cieri. An induction ceremony will be held later in the semester.
