This is a look into the Cedar Park Drumline. It may seem a little strict, and all work from the outside, but you can’t live without a little fun. In all seriousness, this is a video which contains many different reasons why being in the Drumline is a good thing.

Noah Hedges is a senior. This is his second year on the Wolfpack Staff. He's in the drumline here at Cedar Park, along with being the kid who plays the drum solo at half-time during football games. He enjoys writing about music and sports. Noah wants to march drum corps in the future and he is majoring in Music Industry with a minor in Graphic Design at the University of North Texas. Following college, he wants to teach and arrange music for High School Bands and Drum Corps.

Attorney General Ken Paxton sued the district Tuesday afternoon for refusing to display donated copies of the Ten Commandments in classrooms, according to a statement released by his office. “These rogue ISD officials and board members blatantly disregarded the will of Texas voters who expect the legal and moral heritage of our state to be displayed in accordance with the law,” Paxton said. “Round Rock ISD and Leander ISD chose to defy a clear statutory mandate, and this lawsuit makes clear that no district may ignore Texas law without consequence.”

The event has been held for the past two years and is designed to raise money for the baseball program in a fun way. “We’re a baseball team, so people love to compete,” Cuevas said. “So we figured we better do something that gets [their] attention. Superintendent Bruce Gearing was announced as a finalist for the superintendent job for Conway Public Schools in Arkansas Friday. Gearing, who has served as superintendent since August 2019, did not notify the school board of his job search prior to the finalist announcement. "While this announcement came as a surprise to the Board, we want to assure our community that the Board remains dedicated and focused on our purpose — serving students, supporting staff and continuing the important work happening across our classrooms and campuses every day," the district said in a press release Friday. "The Board of Trustees will continue to ensure stability, transparency and progress for our district regardless of any outcome."

Drip-N-Rip Vapes had two locations affected by burglaries from a juvenile crime ring, with one pictured above. Following the crimes, this location implemented cement pillars and bars across the window as an extra safety measure. “People are out to get anything,” store manager Trey Fawley said. “Honestly, preventative maintenance like this is now necessary. It sucks that you do have to spend money to stop people from doing something they shouldn't be doing in the first place.”

Hugging his friend and fellow band member, senior baritone player Ryan Chung celebrates after completing their performance at the UIL 5A State Championship. This is the band’s seventh year in a row winning first place. “What really kept me motivated was just all of the people,” Chung said. “I tried really hard to connect with as many people as I could in the band and I think that it really paid off because it motivated me to continue to inspire, continue to grow and connect with everybody I know. It truly didn't just motivate me, but it also pushed me to grow as a person as well.”
