Freshman football faces disappointment against Vista

Both freshmen football teams were defeated by Vista Ridge at home on Nov. 1. White team came close to winning, but ultimately lost 21-14. Green team was beat by Vista Ridge 33-14.
White team started strong with a touchdown by quarterback William Richter in the first half, but Vista lead 20-6 going into the second half. In the final half, both teams scored a touchdown. At the end of the game, Vista Ridge led by one touchdown.
After the first game, it was Green team’s turn to take the field. They scored a touchdown in the first half while Vista Ridge managed to score two. At half-time, Vista Ridge was winning 19-6. After the second half, the Timberwolves lost to the Rangers by 19 points.
Dripping Springs will host the freshman for the last game of the season Thursday Nov. 8.
