Tran said the wins against Smithson Valley and Alamo Heights gave the team a morale boost to take on the Raiders tonight. “I know we were not 100% confident in those games,” Tran said. “But, Rouse is a big opponent for sure. Terry said his proudest moments are when his students are happy to see him. “When I take my wife to a football game or something and a bunch of students want to say hi to me or they like to smile and wave and it just makes me feel good that the students are really kind and supportive of me,” Terry said. “[I’m also] proud when I see students perform really well in their extracurriculars because I can see how hard they’re working in my classes, [so] when I see that they’re also working so hard in other things. 2018 Kicks off for Ping Pong Club
Junior Kasey Korbakes and sophomore Lolah Colins play a game of ping pong in ping pong club on Jan. 12.
As students study for their next test in Mrs. Trueblood’s class, many others enjoy an intense game of ping pong. Ping pong club meets every Friday during DEN for students to enjoy the weekend coming up.
“It is really fun to laugh and play a few fun games with your best friends,” sophomore Addie Dawson said.
With gathering ping pong balls from all over the classroom, the students have an array of fun every week.
Garrett Wilson is a junior and in his first year of CPHS News. He enjoys giving the students information of multiple sports on The Wolf-pack. Apart from writing articles, his main hobby is playing for the Cedar Park football team. He also really enjoys chilling with his friends and eating breakfast at Natalie's Doughnuts or Starbucks.
