If the square root of pie is something you know by heart then Mu Alpha Theta is the place for you. Mu Alpha Theta is a club that tutors, competes and goes to state conventions, all for math.
They meet the second Monday and Thursday of every month in A222 and other mornings they help teachers and tutor kids that come into tutorials.
PIE Day is an event in March where Mu Alpha Theta sells pies to students and teachers to raise money for their club or to donate.
“It’s the only thing people really know about the club and it’s a big event for us,” Kevin Vu, senior member said.
