Standerfer will prepare for a lot of traveling this upcoming summer as her family will move to Boston and she will be moving to Atlanta to attend Emory University on the pre-med track. “I will most likely be majoring in biology and political science," Standerfer said. Junior Swimmer Ella Mongenel commits to the University of Texas to continue her academic and athletic career on the Women’s Swim and Dive team. She has been in communication with the Longhorn swimming staff since June, and committed in November. “Even though swimming is so individualized when you compete,having teammates there to support you makes a big difference,” Mongenel said. “I am thankful for all the people that I have met throughout my swimming career and how they helped me push through.”

In his documentary released on Sept. 12 on Amazon Prime Video, Philadelphia Eagles football player Jason Kelce, shows off different aspects of  his life throughout the 2022-2023 NFL season. His brother, Travis Kelce, is the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and defeated the Eagles during the last Super Bowl in February. Holding the film tripod, varsity manager, junior Hadrian Hurn, helps the team by moving the film iPad in between sets against Leander on Oct. 17. The varsity volleyball tell battled against Leander and ended the match with a victory in the fourth set. "My favorite thing about being a manager is being able to help out with practices and going to watch all the games,"Hurn said. "Being a manager helps me as a player because I can watch high level volleyball and watch how people better than me play, and apply the playing style or techniques and form to how I play in my practices and games."
