Seniors Put on Style Show

Draped in elegant gowns and extravagant jewels, seniors model Z couture and Kendra Scott jewelry for Project Grad.
This year, parents and student in charge of Project Grad have come up with a unique way for students to shop for prom dresses while raising money. On Feb. 1, the Project Grad committee where CPHS seniors will not only be modeling Z couture, an elite fashion boutique that specializes in prom dresses, but also Kendra Scott, who will be releasing her new line at the Style Show. The event will take place at the Twin Creeks Country club from 6-9 p.m.
25 seniors were specifically selected based on their after school and extracurricular activities in order to ensure that the whole school was encompassed. According to Style Show coordinator Caroline Domain, a volunteer for Project Grad, the show is filled with girls of all sizes and color.
Admission to the show is free, however there are plenty of opportunities for on-lookers to come by and purchase prom dresses, Kendra Scott and gift baskets. Project Grad’s aim is a total of $50, 000 in order for all high school students to attend the event for free and this event alone is expected to raise about $10,000.
There will be two style shows, one at 6:15 and one at 7:00 p.m.
