Kasandra Reynoso, Reporter
Kasandra Reynoso is currently a sophomore and first-year reporter. She lived in Mexico when she was younger alongside her twin sister and older sister, and is currently learning Spanish with the goal of becoming fluent. In her spare time, Kasandra enjoys watching movies—particularly Marvel films—binge-watching her favorite series, reading, listening to music, sleeping and staying up way too late. She is also enrolled in a Photography class, where she enjoys capturing images of everything around her, as well as learning an acoustic guitar to play music for all her friends. She is also a devoted fan of the TV show “Supernatural.” Kasandra aspires to become a forensic scientist in the future so she can help others and she hopes to travel the world.

During the summer, Peterson traveled to Colombia to help build an elementary school that only had two classrooms but five or six grades with one teacher. “We add[ed] two more classrooms,” Peterson said. “It’s kind of hard when you have two or three grades in one classroom and you only have one teacher.
