Kasandra Reynoso, Reporter

Kasandra Reynoso is currently a sophomore and first-year reporter. She lived in Mexico when she was younger alongside her twin sister and older sister, and is currently learning Spanish with the goal of becoming fluent. In her spare time, Kasandra enjoys watching movies—particularly Marvel films—binge-watching her favorite series, reading, listening to music, sleeping and staying up way too late. She is also enrolled in a Photography class, where she enjoys capturing images of everything around her, as well as learning an acoustic guitar to play music for all her friends. She is also a devoted fan of the TV show "Supernatural." Kasandra aspires to become a forensic scientist in the future so she can help others and she hopes to travel the world.

Turning off her dreaded morning alarm for school, sophomore Cassie Rico wishes she got some more sleep last night before beginning classes. Rico said she realized it's always better to go to school with more sleep so she doesn't struggle throughout the day. “I wake up at 6 a.m. and go to sleep around maybe 11 p.m. or 12 a.m. depending on how much homework I have,” Rico said. “ I have noticed the less sleep I get, the more my grades go down because my focus suffers from lack of sleep.”
