Sprinting at an angle senior and center-midfielder Eugenio Guzman defends the ball from the opposing player, and preventing goals scored. On Friday Feb. 25 the varsity boys won their district game against Liberty Hill 2-0. [Being captain] means a lot I was a captain chosen by every person on the team, Guzman said. It was our first win in district so it was a pretty good feeling and it was refreshing, it put is back to the race for playoffs. Our hopes are to finish strong, win everything we have left, and then hope for the best.
