![Cheering alongside the other student section leaders, senior Emily Rangel tries to keep energy high while watching the football games. The next home football game will be on Oct. 15, at the Gupton stadium. “I wanted to become student section leader because I felt like I would be able to help bring everyone together and be as enthusiastic as possible after COVID made last year really rough," Rangel said. "I wanted to make sure I had some sort of leadership position in order to be able to make my senior year and everyone else’s year memorable. My best advice to the underclassmen is to not be afraid to be loud and partake in anything they can. It’s not embarrassing to have school spirit and it makes the pep rally much more enjoyable if everyone participates.”](https://cphswolfpack.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/pep2.jpg)
Prepping to Get Peppy
![Students cheer during the home coming pep rally on Sept. 20. The success of the pep rally was due to students like those in broadcast, who prepared the line up, the scripts and hosted the pep rally. "...Broadcast comes in... and they kind of host the whole pep rally, Evan [Vines] and Ella [Neel] do," broadcast adviser Anthony Garcia said. "Then our sports director interviews the athletes during that portion to kind of ask about the games that night, and then a lot of our tech students help with kind of setting up the sound system, running the soundboard, the best that they can, in the gym.”](https://cphswolfpack.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/bridgetpepralyG_9990-900x600.jpg)

Homecoming Pep Rally- 9/24/10
![Taking a group photo, the Celebrities are sitting together in New York on their thanksgiving trip. According to captain Mia Caldwell, her favorite rehearsal was the NBC rehearsal with the producers in front of Macy’s. “We got to perform at night in front of Macy’s, which was completely decorated for Christmas with the most magical lights,” Caldwell said. “It was something that seems so iconic to the holidays in New York. After a few days of being in the ballrooms of a hotel, it was a great reminder of where exactly we were and just how special a performance with all my best friends was about to be.”

![Sitting at a desk past the rows of books laid out for the Book Fair, senior Kimberley Walters assists people in purchasing books and finding titles. The Book Fair is taking place Dec. 16 through Dec. 20, and is an annual event during which students and faculty have the opportunity to go and purchase books and other trinkets in the library. Kimberley said she encourages all to go to the Book Fair, even if they think they don’t like to read. “If you make reading something that is fun for you and you find the things that you like to read, it will never be a chore,” Walters said. “So [the Book Fair is] a good opportunity to find something that will respark your want to read [like] when you were a child and you went to the book fair and you loved the ‘I survived’ books. Maybe you'll find your ‘I survived’ books of your high school experience, and it'll re-spark that kind of love for reading that may have died out.”](https://cphswolfpack.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Addie-L-47-1200x800.jpg)
