Lacie Perry , Reporter

Lacie is a sophomore and first-year reporter. She enjoys writing about opinions on social standards, and beliefs. After school, she works at a dog kennel, training and showing German Shepherds. She plans on attending Baylor University and joining the military through civil service to write for the different branches. She loves caring for animals and helping her friends. You can always find her sitting on the ground somewhere reading a book.

Raising her hand in oath, Barbara Sylvester speaks the words to officially join Key Club. I was really proud and happy, Sylvester said. I wasnt quite sure what to expect but once we really began the induction I felt really outside of my comfort zone, and I just felt super honored to be able to be an officer in Key Club and to get officially inducted.

Sophomore Ireland Weaver takes photos on Snapchat. Weaver says that the only reason she uses filters is so she can have fun with them herself.                           
“I think filters are like digital makeup,” Weaver said. “I put 
filters on my photos to make them pleasing to me, it’s not for
