![Whereas classical art depicts a scene and tells a story, often of mythology or religious references, artists of modern times focus more on expressing ideas and feelings. The style of back then has since been replaced by splashes of color, curvy lines and other new art techniques. [Over time] I think art has shifted more to emotion rather than human beauty, sophomore Braeden Murray said. Modern art is significantly more abstract and doesnt have an obvious theme in mind. Very simple shapes, no people to be seen, and more colorful. Wilkinson has been diving for a year and a half and is seeded second for districts. “Diving is hard because it requires you to know where you are in the air,” Rustin said. “You have to know which rotation you are in when you are spinning. [I dive] because I want to get in the top ten at state. He and his father have worked on cars together for all of Trebilco’s life, and have several finished projects because of it. “[My favorite memory with my car is] honestly just cruising with my dad in his truck and my car,” Trebilco said. “Both of the [cars] are restored. Hey there, I’m Beth Rozacky and this year I’m one of the co-editors for the Wolfpack. This will be my senior year and I couldn’t be more pumped about it. Seriously, nothing could deter my happiness on that point; not wind or rain- not even college applications or senioritis. No regrets! After three years on staff I’ve grown to enjoy impending deadlines, caffeine binging, working late hours, and making stellar newspapers. When I’m not in the Journalism Lab I get to enjoy normal things like pretentious indie-rock music, playing on the drum line and hanging out at the lake. I’ve written a few of these staff bios in my day so I know I need to end with something inspirational or witty but I’ll substitute that with something I can actually do. Here’s one from the vaults: “Some editors are failed writers, but so are most writers – TS Elliot.” – Beth Rozacky
