Staring at her monitor, APUSH Teacher Ms. Anderson starts working on her next lesson to keep students engaged. "History is a lot more interesting when you're not bored." Anderson said. "It's also something that teaches you how to look at the world in different ways, and it teaches you how to think critically. It's more than just learning about facts and dates and stuff like that. It's about learning how life works around you, and when we come at history that way, and we invite kids to engage in that discussion in that thought process, and to see how even though this happened 100 and some years ago, it's still relevant."

“AITA for having a little snack? I (15M) ate my cousin (13M)...” Content farms are more common than you think, and have been around for a long time. However, this is a new age of content farming that is targeted for teens and young adults, rather than children. But what qualifies as a content farm? Content farms have garnered several stereotypes that can be used to identify one, being that they use automated tools, produce large amounts of low quality content and still gather a large audience.

WHAP Teacher and Glorious State Leader Mr. Peterson wears a helmet for protection. “It's not hard in this particular game to get students to turn on each other, in order to gain rewards or gain favor within a state setting, to not want to get in trouble.” Peterson said. “We do hold trials. I try to keep them not all crazy [or] fear based, but it is a little bit anxiety and fear produced when you're sitting in front of the classroom and the lights are out. When you start to remove faces from people, and identities, neutral identities, it's really easy to create hate around specific ideologies and groups of people."

Junior Abby Williams on the set of The One Act Play That Goes Wrong posing next to senior Noa Avigdor, juniors Evan Schmitt and Seth Loudenslager, and sophomore Ben Akers. “I still think that ‘The One Act Play That Goes Wrong’ has to be my favorite,” Williams said. “It's the show where I discovered my love for comedy and comedic acting, and where I found out that I have really good comedic timing, if I do say so myself. I got a round of applause in the middle of the show for a moment that I am very proud of.”

A few of my favorite movies of this month are shown in this image. I had to limit myself to only two Andy Samberg movies, otherwise the graphic looks more like a memorial.

Junior Mathew Sniffen holds onto a jug-grip rock, as he tries to swing himself up. "“The main thing that motivates me to keep trying is just knowing how good it's going to feel if I can finally do it, and how good it is to know that you are literally getting stronger, getting better, improving at this thing that you're trying to do.”

Wrapping the fabric around the vase, senior Lillian Dodds works on the December arrangement for the Flower Pack subscription. “I think it's really important to get kids really interested in something because a lot of people take floral design just for like the art credit,” Dodds said. “But I think if there's a lot of money going into it and people can see how cool floral design is, then that can really inspire a lot of kids to maybe want to be florists.”

Backstage, junior Erica Mihealsick and Cara Allen are setting up for The One Act Play That Goes Wrong. "Originally, I wanted to be an actor, but then I didn't want to because I'd have to catch up [in skills] to the other kids. So I decided to join tech, and I've never looked back.”

The app "Letterboxd" makes logging and reviewing movies super easy. I would be lying if I didn't say I had fun watching them. Please, give all of these movies a watch, especially "Troll 2". Being the worst doesn't mean its unwatchable.

Wearing a Spider-Man suit, sophomore Ben Akers poses on top of a rock. “I’m just I'm truly fascinated by his story because, like, he's just this teenager dude, and then he gets bitten by a spider and then a ton of bad stuff happens to him, but he just keeps trucking along and keeps being a good person,” Akers said. “I have a Spider-Man suit and it was kind of a joke at first, but now it's not really a joke. I just am Spider-Man.”
