During the scene, a cannon blast left the ensemble alone on the stage to perform the rest of the number. “I loved working with the ensemble in the group scenes,” Pandey said. “I find it easier to work in scenes with lots of people because there’s a lot of energy you can feed off of. It was also a much smaller cast than previous years, so it was never too overwhelming.”
