Blue Santa is the police officers version of Santa, where they collect toys to give to children and families in need. This year, officer Rodriguez put on Blue Santa in competition against Vista Ridge. Many clubs and organizations collected toys and dropped them off at the front office, there was over 400 toys collected. However, we came up short, we collected more toys than Vista but not as much cash.  PALs teacher Randy Ballenger was one of the people who encouraged his students to donate toys.

“We had a huge implex of toys this year,” Ballenger said. “I know the celebrities took some toys for their admission to their dance so it was a great deal.”
