Fall Recipes: Spiced Cranberry Apple Cider

Introduce fizzy apple cider to sweet cranberry juice for a new flavor twist on a popular fall beverage. This warm drink will serve as an invigorating refreshment for busy weeknights, or leave guests begging for more at Halloween parties. 

 

Slow-Cooker Spiced Cranberry- Apple Cider

4 hour 5 min. total time

Makes 24 servings

 

Ingredients:

cup packed brown sugar

2 teaspoons whole allspice

4 sticks cinnamon (3 inch)

1 bottle (48 oz) apple cider (6 cups)

1 bottle (48 oz) cranberry juice cocktail (6 cups)

Directions:

  1. In 4 to 5-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients.

  2. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 4 to 6 hours. Before serving, remove allspice and cinnamon.
