Jaramillo-Gallegos is competing in Greenhand Spanish Creed Speaking, while Pickett’s LDE is Greenhand Creed Speaking. “Honestly, [I’m excited for] just traveling around, maybe meeting more people,” Jaramillo-Gallegos said. “And [I’m] nervous about probably just not being able to define my weak areas. I feel like I did decent for my first time ever doing this. Trunk or Treat, Here’s What You Missed

Trunk or Treat took place on Oct. 26 in the front parking lot from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Clubs and organizations created games and activities such as bowling and face painting, and also gave out candy as a way for kids and teens to trick or treat before Halloween. Although admission was free, attendees had the option to donate canned goods for a local food bank or new toys for Blue Santa.
Bubble buddies all around, senior Emily Woods goes from booth to booth participating in different activities at Trunk or Treat on Oct. 26. Woods went to Trunk or Treat so a former Cedar Park student who moved to England could see all of her old classmates. “One of my favorite parts of Trunk or Treat was seeing Brooke, and watching he interact with all of her old friends,” Woods said. “I also loved visiting the girls basketball booth and blowing bubbles, it makes me feel like a child.”
