This year the broadcast team and many other clubs have taken the song “Deck the Halls” to a whole new level. There’s no doubt you’ve seen the snowflakes and the gingerbread house at the entrance to the broadcast room.
“We’ve had a blast encouraging the holiday spirit throughout the school,” sophomore Monica Harkins said.
The students have dedicated time inside and outside of school to ensure that the decorations get up and look the best they can. The main architect behind the marvel that is the broadcast gingerbread house is junior Lindsey Koski.
“It really makes people feel jolly to walk around in a winter wonderland,” Koski said.
It seems that the main goal is to get students thoughts off of the stressors of school. With finals on the way many students will appreciate the hard work that clubs like broadcast have put into transforming the walls of our school.
“It relieves the stress of work and gets people excited for the holidays,” senior Marie Dillard said.
