On Wed., Oct. 17at the Dell Diamond, many Cedar Park students attended Fields of Faith. Fields of Faith is an event organized by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and takes place all over the United States. The festivities included music, testimonies and prayer.
Many attendees agreed that the testimonies and music were the highlight of the occasion. The band that performed was Price Hill and regularly plays at Central Baptist Church in Round Rock.
“It was powerful to hear all the stories,” Freshman Emilie Lark said. “It was good to see the band play because I had heard great things about them, so it was awesome to finally hear them.”
Sophomore Courtnee Curl agreed with Lark.
“The event was informing to me to hear different people’s testimonies,” Curl said, “I enjoyed singing the songs. It was a lot of fun.”
Fields of Faith is just one of the many FCA events happening this year. FCA is hosting a Hay Ride on Oct. 29. They will also host a Fifth Quarter after the Vista Ridge game on Nov. 2, where there will be food, fun and fellowship.
