DEN, a 35-minute-long free period students are given, is used in many ways for a variety of purposes. Students use this time to work on homework, make up missed tests and sometimes catch up with friends. Lots of students use DEN to run “errands,” as well, whether that means picking up an assignment from a teacher, visiting with a student teacher or asking the librarian about a tech issue. Students can no longer leave their designated classroom during DEN, even to go to the restroom.

Finals schedule and graduation information

The school year is winding to an end and final exams are coming up fast. Seniors and underclassmen have different schedules, as the seniors will be participating in different events during the time other students will be taking their finals.

 

The final exam schedule for the seniors is:

May 31- periods 3 and 4

June 3- periods 7 and 8

Jun 4- periods 1 and 2 (dismiss at 11:56)      

June 5- periods 5 and 6 (dismiss at 11:56)

June 7- Grad practice/ picnic for seniors at 10:00 a.m.        

June 8- Graduation

 

Graduation this year is at noon, at the Cedar Park Center. The practice graduation is going to be at 10:00 a.m., however students need to meet in the cafeteria at 9:30. After the practice graduation, seniors will go directly to the picnic.

 

The final exam schedule for underclassmen is:

June 4- periods 3 and 4                                   June 5- periods 7 and 8

June 6- periods 2 and 1 (dismiss at 11:56)     June 7- periods 6 and 5 (dismiss at 11:56)
