CPHS theater department’s production of Figaro received third place at district on March 28. The show Figaro, is about a servant who works for a count and is about to marry his fiance. As they get closer to their marriage date issues arise causing them to plot against the count to make sure they get married.

“The show was hilarious,” senior Donelvan Thigpen, who played the role of the count said. ”We spent countless hours working on the set and comedic timing.”

It took three months and rehearsal at least three times a week to produce the show, as well as create the set. The Figaro cast consisted of 15 actors/actresses and five crew members.
