Without this Song, I Would Fall Apart
Ashe Collaborates with FINNEAS in Latest Single
After Ashe and FINNEAS announced that they would release a single together, I was beyond excited. My expectations were extremely high and they were exceeded.

If you don’t know who Ashe is, let me tell you. She is a talented and accomplished singer-songwriter. She has been featured in two of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” movies and previously collaborated with artists like Louis the Child and Niall Horan.
Ashe is the reason my favorite color is yellow. Ashe is also the reason why every year since 2017, the minutes I spend listening to music on Spotify are very high. To date, my lowest number is around 20,000 minutes.
Anyway, when I saw that Ashe was going to release a new single with singer-songwriter, producer and actor, FINNEAS, I was beyond excited. It was the collaboration we all needed. Well, you might not have needed it, but my yearbook pages, my motivation and my productivity needed this single to keep things rolling. While the duo has worked together before on Ashe’s EPs “Moral of the Story Chapter 1 and Chapter 2,” this is the first collaboration in terms of both of their vocals used in a song.
“Till Forever Falls Apart” is a dreamy ballad with the perfect mix of high and lows featuring the strings of a guitar and the keys of a piano. From the first listen, I immediately fell in love with every aspect of the song. It’s melancholic, nostalgic and cheerful in a lot of ways. In 3:54, you beautifully go through so many emotions. The song narrates the strong connection one can have with a friend or significant other. It captures the promise of never letting go “til death do us part” and realizing that if that relationship ends, one should be grateful for the moments experienced together. It describes the worst tragedies that can occur and eventually finding solace in that relationship you hold or once held. FINNEAS and Ashe’s voices blend with ease, so much so, that by the bridge and last chorus, tears were streaming down my face.
If that didn’t convince you that you should have a listen, let me briefly talk about the art that is the music video. The duo performs in front of a desert covered in giant stormy clouds. They begin separately singing and dancing through their parts, and as the second pre-chorus begins, join together. Their amazing chemistry is best demonstrated not only through their vocals, but while following the choreography of a modern dance piece in the rhythm of the song.
“Till Forever Falls Apart” is the song you need to have on repeat. You honestly won’t regret it. With top-notch production, amazing talent and a meaningful message, it’s essential in everyone’s playlist.
You can stream “Till Forever Falls Apart” on Spotify, Pandora and Apple Music. You can buy the single on iTunes and Amazon music. The single is rated explicit.

Senior student director Mia Morneault says how much she’s enjoyed working with the cast and crew. “I am very proud of all the cast and crew who worked as hard on it as I have. A lot of people care about [this show],” Morneault said. “I have a lot of friends on the cast and on the crew, but I’ve also grown and gained friendships through the show, even as director where I may be a little more stricter than normal. And I am very grateful for everyone I’ve gotten to work with.”](https://cphswolfpack.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/DSC_0657-1200x800.jpg)

Kato’s painting is a political piece inspired by a photo of elementary schoolers in the street protesting against ICE. “I think it's also symbolic because they're surrounded by snow, which can represent ICE, and they are still marching,” Kato said. “[The kids] are not stopping until equality or justice is served, which I think is really important to represent and show.” Photo by John Pinion](https://cphswolfpack.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-03-26-114740.png)

Yearbook won 43, newspaper won 14 and broadcast took home nine. “I think [the ILPC awards] are a great way to give the kids some acknowledgement for all of their hard work,” newspaper and yearbook adviser Paige Hert said. “They typically spend the year covering everyone else’s big moments, so it’s really cool for them to be celebrated so many times and in so many different ways.”](https://cphswolfpack.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/edited-ILPC.jpg)

The varsity baseball team played in the bi-district round of playoffs against the Boerne Greyhounds April 30-May 2, where they won Game 1 6-4, lost Game 2 2-1 and won the last game 5-2, allowing them to advance to area. “Honestly, [my favorite] big moment that wasn't even part of my moment was Dom's grand slam,” Cuevas said. “That was a big game changer in Game 1 of round one that ultimately helped us win that game and even move on. It set the tone for the games after and has really impacted and sparked this whole playoff run.” Photo by Allie Tseng](https://cphswolfpack.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/allie-boerne00159-1200x800.jpg)

Hill rushed for three touchdowns in the 43-36 loss against Frisco Wakeland last Friday, but the Timberwolves were eliminated from playoff contention. “[I’m] just happy I got to experience the game with my brothers,” Hill said. “I’m going to remember how close and how enjoyable everything was with these guys. They are my brothers for life. Just waking up and grinding together, and proving the naysayers wrong [was my favorite part].”
