National Spanish Honor Society

Purpose of the club:

Provide service hour opportunities and promote interest in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian studies.

Who may be interested in joining this club?

Anyone with interest in Hispanic culture and/or the Spanish language.

Club Events:

Posada Esperanza- assisting immigrant families (members play with the children)

Pulsera Project- selling bracelets to improve local economies of Latin America and support fair trade and environmental organizations

Requirements:

Club members must at least be in or have completed Spanish 3 and meet certain GPA requirements
4 hours of service per semester
Must not miss three meetings per year
$20 dues

Meetings:

When- Every third Thursday afternoon/Friday morning of the month

Where- Sra. Kulis’ room (AW110)
