![Broadcast, yearbook and newspaper combined for 66 Interscholastic League Press Conference awards this year. Yearbook won 43, newspaper won 14 and broadcast took home nine. “I think [the ILPC awards] are a great way to give the kids some acknowledgement for all of their hard work,” newspaper and yearbook adviser Paige Hert said. “They typically spend the year covering everyone else’s big moments, so it’s really cool for them to be celebrated so many times and in so many different ways.”](https://cphswolfpack.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/edited-ILPC.jpg)

They are my brothers for life. Just waking up and grinding together, and proving the naysayers wrong [was my favorite part].”

Dancing Kings: Senior and Junior Boys Dance Off

Swapping places at the pep rally, the junior and seniors took the floor and competed on Feb. 15.
They got together in the cheer gym during DEN over the past week and put together their separate routines. The boys danced to a mash up of music with popular songs that the cheerleaders chose.
After performing their routines, they were judged on how well they did and like most years, the seniors won.
”I know traditionally the seniors automatically win, but it’s safe to say this year we actually won,” senior Desmond Brink said. “It felt great showing off our goofy sides and having everyone laugh and cheer for us.”
