Hunter-Rose Comtois is a senior that enjoys being creative. A mess up in her schedule last year caused her to be placed in a journalism class she didn’t think she wanted. She soon realized that she liked writing news articles and joined newspaper for her senior year. She has taken all kinds of art classes throughout high school. In her spare time she draws and paints because eventually she would like to become an art teacher.

During the summer, Peterson traveled to Colombia to help build an elementary school that only had two classrooms but five or six grades with one teacher. “We add[ed] two more classrooms,” Peterson said. “It’s kind of hard when you have two or three grades in one classroom and you only have one teacher.
