Jordy Peterson is a sophomore and first year reporter for the Wolfpack. You can often find her procrastinating WHAP homework, by sleeping or wasting countless hours on Pinterest. She is Sophomore Class Vice President and Secretary of the Varsity Debate Team. She loves to kickbox, eat mashed potatoes (or any form of potato), and watch any movie that casts Matthew Mcconaughey. Jordy has an impressive fanny pack collection that will eventually be available to the public when she is famous.

During the summer, Peterson traveled to Colombia to help build an elementary school that only had two classrooms but five or six grades with one teacher. “We add[ed] two more classrooms,” Peterson said. “It’s kind of hard when you have two or three grades in one classroom and you only have one teacher. It’s very hard to actually get some beneficial learning.
